Regardless of whether you’re an exhibitor at a trade show or a buyer attending the show – you are a walking billboard for your brand!

If you have a booth, be sure to brand it with logo’d table skirting, signage, brochures and plenty of business cards.  Have your team wear coordinated polos or shirts with your logo prominently displayed for that polished appearance.  Many people will stop by your booth because they have a genuine interest in your product or service; others just like to check out the promotional give-a-ways.   But they all have one thing in common – they are at this trade show because it has relevance to them.   While they may not be a prospect today, they could be in the future.  So, choose your promotional products wisely!  Make it something they can easily carry and will actually use on a daily basis, like a logo’d pen, key chain, coaster, etc.  This will help to reinforce your brand in their mind every time they use it and might even help jog their memory about the conversation they had with you in the booth.

If you’re an attendee, this is an opportunity to get some visibility for you and your company.  So, don’t underestimate the importance of wearing logo’d apparel or carrying a logo’d briefcase.  Be sure you bring enough business cards and some brochures.  You’ll be meeting suppliers and networking with people who might ultimately help you grow your business.
